This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, captures the biggest college football rivalry in the state of Oklahoma. Known as the Bedlam football game, the annual battle is between the Oklahoma State University Cowboys and the University of Oklahoma Sooners. Like most other intrastate rivalries, the Bedlam Series goes beyond football. It began more than 100 years ago with the rivalry between the two schools' prestigious wrestling programs. Today, football and basketball games stand out as the marquee events. This Bedlam football game was hosted by the Cowboys at Boone Pickens Stadium but regardless of location, Bedlam is for Oklahoma bragging rights and is one of the most intense games of the year.
